WORK is continuing to safeguard the future of 35 Teesside workers at a Middlesbrough bakers which went into administration last month.
Riverside Bakery Limited, which has been trading for more than a quarter of a century, fell into difficulties as the recession hit home.
Mark Ranson, restructuring and recovery partner at Baker Tilly and joint administrator for Riverside Bakery, said: “Since being appointed administrators in October, the business with the support of customers, suppliers and employees has continued to trade normally.
“It remains our intention to sell the business and I can confirm that we have received enquiries and expressions of interest from a number of organisations - some of which have visited Riverside’s premises recently.”
