Duncan Bannatyne teams up with plastic surgeon to offer new spa treatments

ENTREPRENEUR Duncan Bannatyne has joined up with a plastic surgeon to offer customers of his spa chain a new way of reducing their wrinkles.

The Dragons’ Den star is launching a range of non-surgical treatments at his Darlington-based leisure company’s York and Darlington spas and if they prove popular he says he will roll them out across his 30-strong chain.

The venture, which will be known as Define at Bannatyne Spa, has been created in partnership with Darlington consultant plastic surgeon Paul Baguley and will provide treatments including laser hair removal, dermal filling and line relaxing.

Justin Musgrove, Bannatyne Group Spa Director, said: “The launch of Define at Bannatyne Spa marks a milestone for the company, as we expand into a new area of services.

“The introduction of these new treatments is a key element of our long term plan to keep at the forefront of the industry and to continually enhance and expand our spa offering.

“We always strive to provide our customers with the latest, most advanced treatments and we are delighted to be working with Mr Baguley, who is well regarded in the North East due to his comprehensive experience and reputation for quality.

“The popularity of these treatments has increased over recent years, despite the recession, and we believe the time is right to get involved.

“The industry has moved from being something for the rich and famous to something that can be explored by the general public.”

Mr Baguley said: “Demand for non-surgical treatments continues to grow and I am delighted to be working with the Bannatyne Spa chain to introduce a professional, high quality service for all spa visitors.”
