Innovative Pro-Ad gifts get your brand noticed

IF you thought the world of promotional gifts was all about umbrellas and USB sticks, then think again.

Suppliers from across the country converged on the North East yesterday to show off some of the more unusual ways to get your brand noticed – from silk ties to a device for retrieving lost golf balls.

The annual event, at Newcastle Falcons’ Kingston Park ground was organised by Morpeth-based Pro-Ad which specialises in business gifts.

Managing director Carlo Nardini said there was an upbeat mood among the 150 delegates, with firms determined to market their way out of recession.

“People are looking to spend money again to market themselves after what has been a difficult time,” he said. “We had a seminar on 21 ways to use promotional items to drive your business forward and there was a really vibrant mood after that.”
