NOF Energy, the business development organisation for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore wind sector, is offering member companies the chance to showcase their businesses and build relationships at Houston’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in May.
As part of its stand-sharing initiative, NOF Energy can help companies gain access to one of the biggest events in the international energy sector calendar, which attracts operators and supply chain organisations from across the globe.
NOF Energy’s stand-sharing packages provides companies with the chance to take space on the organisation’s exhibition stand as a catalyst to meeting new contracts and potentially winning new business.
One of NOF Energy’s previous success stories at OTC came from member company Wessington Cryogenics, which last year sealed a new international partnership to take its products into Scandinavia.
The Houghton-le-Spring-based company struck an agreement at the exhibition in 2009 with Stavanger-based Fluid Control to market and sell Wessington’s technology, initially in the Norwegian and Danish markets.
OTC, which takes place in Texas between May 3 and 6, is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection.
Joanne Leng, NOF Energy’s director business development said: “OTC is the perfect location to find new customers and win new business. With our support, members have earned more than £50m in new business by exploiting opportunities such as OTC.
“In previous years, the NOF Energy stand has proven to be a popular destination for international businesses looking to tap into the expertise and innovation of UK suppliers.”
