Small screen test for entrepreneurs
ORGANISERS of the If We Can, You Can challenge to find the face of entrepreneurship in the Tees Valley are to launch a digital TV channel.
Ifwecanyoucan.TV aims to share the experiences of entrepreneurs in the region and celebrate their drive, passion and aspiration.
Building on the existing online community of around 700 North-east business people set up by the Entrepreneurs Forum, the channel aims to explode the “celebrity” image of TV dragons by featuring the real life stories of everyday entrepreneurs.
The site features footage of the challenge from the past two years and a mini documentary Tears And Triumphs, which follows the journeys of three young entrepreneurs, alongside a bank of interviews and features, demonstrating what life’s really like for the region’s most enterprising business founders.
The site is launching in tandem with sister site Entrepreneursforum.TV which showcases material from an archive of footage captured at Forum events and conferences, alongside new features such as Head To Head and Round The Table.
Carole Beverley, chief executive of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum, said that together the sites reflected the grass roots spirit of entrepreneurialism in the region.
The channels were designed by Ten Alps Vision - a company created by an original If We Can, You Can member.
This year’s If We Can, You Can Challenge is open for entries from Monday. Log on at www.ifwecanyoucan.co.uk/challenge for details.
