The company was founded in 1968 on its existing site by Mr Hall senior and John Hannam.
Mr Hall added: “We got in at the start of the development of aluminium and glass systems and have grown as the sector has grown.”
The downturn has seen Dane shed around a dozen jobs through natural wastage, leaving it with a current workforce of around 150. However Mr Hall is cautiously optimistic about future prospects.
He added: “We have a strong team and we are well-placed for the future.
“There are signs that the private sector construction market is coming back with some developers starting to commission bigger schemes.
“There is a perception that construction costs are at the bottom and there are signs that metal and glass prices are starting to go up.”
The company recently spent £1m on new computer and manufacturing hardware.
The Olympic contract will be designed and constructed at the firm’s 70,000 sq ft of offices and factory space.
