City's Christmas bonus for North events organiser

EVENT management company She's Gott It! has once again been appointed to produce Edinburgh's Christmas event as it looks to expand and create jobs.

The Durham-based company was awarded a four year contract to deliver the event in 2007 and has just been asked by the City of Edinburgh Council to deliver it for a further year, with the option to extend it until January 2012.

The firm, which was launched by Nickie Gott in 2002, has worked very closely on a number of key elements for one of the world’s largest Christmas festivals, including extending the creative programming across the City.

Mrs Gott, who is company director, said: “We are so proud of our reputation and have a very committed and experienced team who are passionate about bringing innovative ideas to our audiences.

“We are delighted that we have been asked by City of Edinburgh Council to extend our contract for Edinburgh’s Christmas.”

The seven-strong company has now outgrown its Forster House office in Finchdale Road, Durham, and is looking to leave its home of seven years for a bigger space, which would help it to add to its workforce.
