Top spot for Newcastle travel company
A NEWCASTLE travel business has been named Top Travel Agent in the North East by a national tour operator.
Carrier, who specialise in luxury tailor-made holidays worldwide, said Newcastle-based Travel Bureau is the best in the North East – and one of the top 10 agents in the UK.
Travel Bureau commercial director Jeanne Lally said: “We are thrilled to be named as one of the top travel agents. This is fantastic news for the business.”

The Gosforth firm is an independently owned and managed business which was opened nearly 50 years ago, and now has 30 staff.
Carrier designs luxury journeys to a collection of the finest hotels and resorts worldwide. Its dedicated reservations teams travel extensively and have a wealth of first-hand knowledge.
Carrier sales manager Rick Milne said: “The Travel Bureau has been a loyal supporter of Carrier for many years and this is the ninth time they have received an accolade.
“We work very closely with independent travel agents across the UK and annually celebrate their support and achievements by hosting a number of events throughout the country. This year, a total of 10 awards were presented nationally to the top agents.
