Another buyer comes forward for Robson Brown

Day also sits on the board, and is the main shareholder of the Mission Marketing Group, which operates a portfolio of advertising and media businesses.
He added: “We are a national agency with the ability to provide the full range of services to our clients. We are recruiting and it is our intention to create jobs in the North East.
“A lot of Robson Brown staff have had a bad couple of weeks and our priority is to recruit the right people back into the business.”
Less than a week ago it appeared Robson Brown had been bought by its three former directors.
Former chief executive Andrew Marwick told nebusiness then: “A full compliment of staff has been rallied, establishing teams across all marketing communication disciplines, enabling the company to perform with the same offering and capabilities as it always has. All RB departments remain intact and are led by previous group heads.”
Stuart Robson and Alan Brown, who founded the business 25 years ago, are understood to be among the largest creditors as they had not been paid in full for the business, which is believed to have cost Round2 around £5m.
