Education partnership conference at Teesside University

PROFESSIONAL development is the main focus of the HE in FE Conference due to take place at Teesside University next week.

The annual conference offers an opportunity for those working in education to meet staff from across the Higher Education Business Partnership (HEBP) and disseminate key information and to address matters at the forefront of HE in FE.

Vice-chancellor Professor Graham Henderson CBE will open the conference and will set the scene for the future of HEBP on July 1.

The theme of the event is the sharing of good practice in learning and teaching. There are also workshops specifically aimed at engaging staff working in areas which support the HE learning experience, such as student services, student registration and finance.

Lynn Parker, director of educational partnerships at Teesside University, said: “This is our annual opportunity to bring together college partners, share good practice and innovation and celebrate our collaboration.”
