Learning the art of digital marketing at Gateshead event

EXPERTS in the art of marketing will be discussing how to make the most of digital marketing at a conference at The Sage in Gateshead today.

PR agent Mark Borkowski, Smarta founder Sháá Wasmund, and Association of eBusiness Professionals Naomi Langford-Wood will be the keynote speakers at the event, which will look at the rise of digital marketing, and how it can be implemented and designed to get the most publicity for a business.

This is the fourth time the annual Business Link conference has taken place, and it will also feature breakfast seminars, workshops and one-to-one sessions.

Senior project manager Lyndsey Morrison said: “This year’s conference looks at the rise in importance of digital marketing, an increasingly vital part of the marketing mix but one which many of the region’s businesses know little about and even less about how to use it.

“The aim is that in just one day delegates will not only understand digital marketing, but be equipped with the information and confidence to develop and deliver their own digital marketing strategies.

“We’re thrilled with the calibre of the keynote speakers that the conference has attracted.

“Internationally renowned marketing experts from some of the world’s biggest brands will be on hand to share their wisdom and expertise as well as inspire the conference.”
