NECC members urged to enter nebusiness awards

THE region's largest business membership organisation has urged firms to showcase their success by entering the leading business awards in the North East.

The North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) is encouraging its network of 4,000 businesses to enter the 2012 nebusiness awards to demonstrate the level of success the business community achieved in the last 12 months.

NECC is working with The Journal and Evening Gazette to drive the 2012 ne business awards following the extraordinary level of success enjoyed by NECC member businesses in the awards over recent years.

NECC chief executive James Ramsbotham said: “We have an enormously successful business community that has achieved so much this year.

“The North East Business Awards provide a magnificent showcase for the ground-breaking work being pioneered by companies across the region.

“It was a point of immense pride that all of last year's winners came from our membership and I would urge every one of our 4,000 members of any size and across all sectors in the North East to consider entering this year.”

In addition to supporting the nebusiness awards, NECC works with the winners of the awards to showcase them on the national stage by entering those winners which are NECC members to the British Chambers of Commerce's Chamber Awards.

Businesses wishing to enter the 2012 awards have until Friday, December 23 to complete nominations for the nebusiness awards. To enter visit www.nebusinessawards.co.uk
