New store for Darlington's Cornmill Shopping Centre

DARLINGTON’S Cornmill Shopping Centre has added another store to its collection, as a new retailer opened its doors to customers.

Budget fashion retailer, Stylish, hopes to bring a total of six full and part-time jobs to the shopping centre, and extends the range of fashion products on offer at the centre.

Mohamed Babar, the store’s manager, has agreed a lease with the Cornmill, extending already successful fashion retail ventures in Newcastle and Bishop Auckland.

Stylish sells girls’ and women’s fashion clothing and accessories, with a range of products designed to appeal to a wide age range.

Mr Babar said: “After a lot of interest from customers about the possibility of a Darlington branch I realised that this would be a fantastic business opportunity.

“I have a number of stores across the North-east and I think that this a great move for Stylish.

“I look forward to developing my business here and meeting new customers in the Cornmill.”

Susan Young, Cornmill’s Centre manager said: “Stylish complements the already vibrant mix of fashion retailers on offer at the Cornmill Shopping Centre, offering an even wider range of products and services to our customers.

“An addition of this kind is great for the younger market and adds further value to our shopping experience.”

The Cornmill Shopping Centre is home to over 40 stores including big names such as Primark, Bank, and Top Shop.
