Engineer a golfing win

ENGINEERS are being invited to swap their tools for irons in a special golfing challenge to promote apprenticeships and engineering as a career.

Teesside-based engineering consultants PX Limited are hosting the event at Rockliffe Hall, Hurworth, Darlington on September 4 and the challenge is open to all UK engineering firms.

Teams of four can be made up from either one or a collection of firms. It costs £200 plus VAT, or £75 plus VAT for individuals which includes soup and sandwiches before play, a three-course sponsored dinner, prize presentations to the top three teams, nearest the pin and all players will receive a DVD swing analysis.
