GED Murray has resigned as finance director at Boldon-based Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings.

He will remain with the vitamin test kit maker for up to six months until a successor is appointed. The Board has started the search for new finance director.

IDS chairman Antony Martin said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Ged sincerely for the contribution he has made to the Company."
