FORMER UBS Wealth Management investment director Barney Hawkins is to join the Newcastle office of Brewin Dolphin.

He has more than 20 years experience in managing people’s money and dealing with private client investments for investors in the North East. Investment manager Brewin has more than 350 staff in its offices in Newcastle’s city centre.

Charles May, Brewin’s head of office in Newcastle, said: “We are absolutely delighted that someone of the experience of Barney is joining Brewin Dolphin.

“We believe this is testimony to the way our business is developing and testimony to the commitment we have to the North East region.”
