A REMOVAL firm is growing its commercial interests after winning the contract to shift staff from engineering and consultancy giant AMEC into their new home.
Darlington-based Watson’s moved more than 500 work stations for the company into its new offices at Lingfield Point on the edge of the town.
The contract boosts Watson’s ambitions to add to its commercial customers, which include NIFCO, the Student Loans Company and Darlington Building Society.
The firm, which also works with domestic customers, provides both removals and storage services.
Owner Mick Watson said: “We’re delighted to have won this work and our reputation continues to grow in the commercial field.”
