RINGTONS tea will be helping warm up guests at one of the Lake District’s most luxurious hotels.
The company has been awarded the contract to supply speciality tea to the four-star Armathwaite Hall on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake in Keswick.
Ringtons, which already supplies coffee beans and filter coffee to the hotel, will now also supply loose teas and envelope teas – all of which are brewed and packed at the 105-year- old firm’s manufacturing plant based in Newcastle.
Stephen Drysdale, head of department at Ringtons, said: “Armathwaite Hall has long been a partner of ours and we are very pleased that they have chosen to take our teas on board as part of their offering.
“We aim to establish relationships with businesses in the hospitality industry that echo the quality of our product and Armathwaite Hall is a prime example of this – as a superior venue its guests’ expectations reflect this and we are proud to be able to supply the hotel with our range of premium teas and coffees.”
David Collins, food and beverage manager at Armathwaite Hall, added: “We are delighted to welcome Ringtons’ loose teas and envelope teas to our portfolio of hot beverages at Armathwaite Hall.
“Offering the best quality possible to our guests, in every aspect, is extremely important to us and we have great confidence in the Ringtons product range.”
Armathwaite Hall dates back to the 11th Century and is renowned for its luxurious surroundings and views across Bassenthwaite Lake.
