A NORTH EAST event is set to help business bosses keep up to date with employment law.

The Evening Gazette and its sister paper The Journal have teamed up with Weightman Associates and law firm Dickinson Dees to stage a mock employment tribunal on November 4 at Hardwick Hall Hotel, near Sedgefield.

The event will offer an update on the employment law around dismissal.

Tony Weightman, of Newcastle-based management development company Weightman Associates, said: “People will be able to ask relevant questions in an open forum.

“They will then see a tribunal acted out with a real scenario.

“ This will be a fully inter active session.”
