Strong growth for Deliotte's regional office

ACCOUNTANCY giant Deloitte has boosted revenues in the Yorkshire and the North East to £85m.

The regional part of the business saw growth across all divisions in the 12 months to the end of May, including employment.

Five new partners and six new directors were created and 35 experienced hires taken on as well as 88 new graduates, scholars and school leavers.

Martin Jenkins, practice senior partner for Yorkshire & North East, said: “This has been another robust performance in what continues to be an uncertain economic environment.

“Last year we took the decision to invest heavily in people, skills and new solutions, such as Deloitte Analytics, in order to enhance and extend the services we offer our clients.

“This investment in our business is reflected in the growth we have achieved across our practice.”
