More jobs to go at AstraZeneca
Another 6,000 jobs are being axed worldwide at drugs giant AstraZeneca, the group has confirmed.
The additional job cuts add to an existing programme to reduce its workforce, which will now see 15,000 job losses across AstraZeneca’s global operations.
It is unclear as yet what impact this will have on the UK, where AstraZeneca employs around 11,000 people.
