A FLEDGLING software firm has revealed plans to open an office Down Under as it embarks on a global expansion drive.
Taylored Assessments, based in Morpeth, Northumberland, will set up an office in Australia in July as it looks to roll out its new software package across the country.
The new software, which captures data to gauge how an organisation is performing, has already proved popular in the UK among various training companies, as it can be used to manage a training program.
It has also been sold to a client in Singapore and the company is currently in talks to launch the software in other global markets.
Managing director Wendy Taylor said: “We’ve got contacts out in Australia and there is demand for the product there.
“Australia has employment problems where they don’t have enough people to fill jobs so they have to develop the staff they already have to make them more effective.”
