Launch of a virtual shops mall

THIS month sees the launch of the region’s first virtual shopping mall.

VirtualMetroMall.com will give North East businesses the chance to boost sales through a new online community.

The site, which is the brainchild of Newcastle web-designer Eric Cuthbert, will offer traders the chance to open and operate their own virtual web store or extend and improve an existing one.

Eric said: “The site will take commerce in the North East to the next level, giving traders in the region the chance to take advantage of the explosion of online shopping.

“Those without a website and little or no experience will be able to benefit from our wide range of tutorials designed to help you get started.”
