Online car sales firm at top of Google searches

A NEW online car trading business has soared to the top of the Google tree just four weeks after launching its new website.

Last month Teesside entrepreneur Dan Forbes, with help from Stockton-based e-commerce consultants Visualsoft, launched a website which allows car-owners to sell their vehicles online.

The site, carsboughtforcash.com, cost less than £7,000 to develop but within a matter of weeks has stepped into the international market place.

The site was built around search engine optimisation software developed by Visualsoft and now appears to be firmly positioned in the upper reaches of Google’s search pages above millions of its competitors.

Nedigital business tested the search words ‘MG valuation’ and ‘Vauxhall valuation’ in Google with both searches placing carsboughtforcash.com in the top five in lists consisting of around 1.5 million pages found.

According to Mr Forbes, the site’s successful search engine optimisation drive has already led to financial offers for what he describes as a life-changing sum of money.

Visualsoft is one of the few web-design companies to have carved out a niche in the e-tail sector.
