INTERNET search company Infoserve has given a much-needed boost to the region’s job market with plans to create 70 jobs at its Darlington headquarters.
The new jobs follow the creation of 21 jobs earlier this month and come as part of expansion at the company on the back of increasing numbers of businesses on the look out for online opportunities.
Infoserve, which works in partnership with search engine giants Google and Yahoo, currently employs around 200 people at its North East office on Pioneer Court, Morton Palms.
Mark Riley, head of sales at the Darlington office, said: “This is not a quick fix for Infoserve or the candidate. We are working with two of the world’s most iconic brands so it is essential we build a reliable, trustworthy and motivated team to represent them.
“We want people to build a long-term career with us so we have improved our induction techniques and provide constant mentoring and training throughout. The majority of our management team have worked their way through the business, and began their careers on the sales floor.”
