Time running out to enter awards

TIME is running out for businesses to enter this year’s North East Digital Awards, which recognise the region’s leading lights in the digital media and technology sectors.

Newcastle’s Discovery Museum will play host to the event on March 25 and budding entrants have until next Friday to get involved.

Categories are separated into Digital Users, Suppliers and Innovators while titles include Best eCommerce Website, Best Not-for-profit Website and Best Example of Game Development.

Funded by regional development agency One North East and managed by the North East Regional Portal, the event is a celebration of digital excellence and technological distinction, which also highlights the wealth of talent in the region by recognising their skills and vision towards digital media and technology.

The awards are headline sponsored by The Journal and Business Link North, funded by One North East and managed by the North East Regional Portal.
