Digital duo seen as role model entrepreneurs

TWO young entrepreneurs are quickly finding themselves becoming role models in the digital sector after their fledgling internet company found success.
Brothers Paul and David King joined up this year to launch web-based time management consultancy 1 Day Later and are aiming to achieve six-figure revenues in year one.
Although they currently work from home in Newcastle, they are already eyeing Middlesbrough’s Boho hub as a potential base and catalyst for further growth.
And David King, 25, has been recognised as a promising business model when he was asked to be the guest speaker at the Durham Entrepreneur Society launch event last week.
His company has already pitched its business ideas to the area, winning a Dragon’s Den-style competition hosted by DigitalCity Business.
Run by London PR firm Kingpin Intelligence, the competition offered £7,500 worth of marketing support to the brothers, who are “100% behind” DigitalCity’s 25-year game-plan to create a world-leading digital cluster on Teesside.
