Paul King said: “Initially we targeted one-man bands and start-ups but we’ve found large public sector organisations have shown interest.”
He is already in discussions with One North East, Derwentside Council and sector body Codeworks to trial the software.
The duo received £20,000 from Lloyds for their latest venture through the Government-backed £1.3bn Enterprise Finance Guarantee scheme, which secures bank loans to small firms with a turnover of up to £25m.
David was asked to give an inspirational address to a crowd of more than 300 at the new Durham Entrepreneur Society.
Entrepreneurs Durham president Danny King, who is no relation, said: “We feel that input from passionate, up-and-coming entrepreneurs such as David would go a long way in getting our members to think ‘I could do that’.”
