INTERNATIONALLY-renowned marketing experts are to come to Tyneside to share their expertise with North East businesses.
This year’s “Marketing: the art of” conference at The Sage Gateshead next week, focuses on the rise of the importance of digital marketing and has attracted some of the world’s leading digital marketing individuals to speak at the day-long event.
Businesses have a variety of options when it comes to reaching their potential customers. With large groups of consumers hooked up to the internet or other digital mediums, digital marketing is rapidly becoming the easily implemented and instantly valuable part of the marketing mix.
The annual event has attracted the world’s most influential digital marketing and business leaders including PR guru Mark Borkowski, Management Today’s Most Successful Woman under 35, Sháá Wasmund, and founder of the Association of eBusiness Professionals Naomi Langford-Wood.
Mark Borkowski said: “I’m hugely excited to be speaking at this year’s conference, where I’ll be talking about the power of the brand narrative.
“We have passed through a year of momentous social, political and economic change, in which time I’ve learnt a fundamental lesson; Innovation gives us the ability to differentiate. At the heart of the social space, the brand and PR narrative is akin to a spoonful of honey laced in molasses.
“PR folk and their clients need to address the challenges that face them in a world where social networks are revolutionising the planet. We know we need to engage a whole new generation of consumers whose values are being reshaped almost daily by their new social dialogue. It’s now harder than ever to raise the noise level. How do we address and capture creative imagination? Finding the story.”
