
DIGITAL sign firm Beyond Digital Solutions has appointed a strategic IT director to help move the company forward with its expansion plans.
Dr Dan Oliver has joined the Boldon-based firm with over 14 years experience within the IT sector. He has a PhD in Computer Science and an MBA, has worked with renowned companies including Microsoft.
During his 10 years at Microsoft he spent time as an enterprise strategy consultant and as a consultant architect specialising in the design and implementation of desktop infrastructure, virtualisation management and service delivery.
He has experience in business and services pipeline development alongside running his own IT business.
Beyond Digital is currently boosting its operations in the North East by creating six new jobs following significant growth within the digital signage sector.
Oliver said: “I am excited to be joining this dynamic company. The digital signage sector is currently experiencing rapid growth and it’s great to be able to apply proven ideas and good practice, technologies and process.
“My immediate priorities are to service improvement and product development. We also have a number of solutions to implement within the next year.”
