Tips on talks popular

AN INNOVATIVE one-day course has been launched to improve the communication of businesspeople and motivational trainers.

The advanced communications skills workshop attracted North delegates ranging from business training companies to a TV production co-ordinator.

Course leaders Lesley Hunter, of Mynx, and Andy Shipp, of Core Target Training, gave insights into how voice, tonality and body language can enliven presentations.

Ms Hunter said: “I was delighted by the participation and response from the delegates. Bearing in mind that they were all experienced professionals, everyone commented on how useful they found the day and specifically on something they learnt that will take their communication skills to the next level.”

Gary Armstrong, of QSP business training, said: “The workshop was fantastic and gave some real insights into how established presenters and trainers can inject more dynamism into their presentations and inspire their audiences.”

Next course is on January 23 at the Innkeeper’s Lodge, Newcastle.
