A NORTH East fashion designer who now works in London is bringing her range back home in a venture with her family in South Tyneside.
Laura Moore, who is originally from Hebburn, has opened her Laura Moore London Boutique shop in the town with her sister Kerry and mother Jacqueline.
Kerry and Jacqueline returned home to Hebburn in 2008 after the family moved to London in the early 1990s for work. Laura stayed on in the capital to study before starting work as a fashion designer.
She said: “It has always been my personal dream to excel within fashion and to have my family to not only support me, but to get involved which makes opening the boutique even more special.
“It’s taken a lot of really hard work and constant designing and advertising to really show people exactly how dedicated I am about developing my own boutique to bring both cities that I love together via my passion for fashion.
“The idea is to bring London fashion trends to the North East where my mam can market them and show them off. To see my limited-edition clothing and garments being displayed and promoted in the North East really makes all of us smile. I will be based in London designing and manufacturing the clothing with help from sister while my mam Jacqueline will run and manage the boutique in Hebburn.”
