NETWORKING, help and advice is being made easier for North Tyneside firms through a revamped website.

The North Tyneside Business Forum website – www.northtynesidebusinessforum.co.uk – has improved its online services for members to include an ask the expert area, a trading section, business directory, helpline and forums.

Forum chairman and sales and marketing manager at manufacturer Entek International, Eric Donjon, said: “This new site is a genuinely useful resource for anyone in business in North Tyneside, whether you’re a self-employed one-person company operating from home, or a multi-national outfit.

“It delivers exactly what busy business people need: it is professionally designed, clearly written, easy to access, and packed with pertinent information and resources, including all the latest local business news.”

The forum is an independent body run by businesses for businesses, but its aims are supported by North Tyneside Council.

Councillor Judith Wallace, North Tyneside Council’s cabinet member with responsibility for business, said: “North Tyneside Council is committed to encouraging the growth and development of all North Tyneside businesses.

“This new website will encourage that community to grow and strengthen, and drive business success, which will provide more job opportunities for people living here.”
