THE quality of the North East's largest building society's savings products has been recognised in a prestigious national awards initiative for the personal finance industry.
Newcastle Building Society has been listed in the Best Cash ISA Provider category of the 2011 Moneyfacts Awards, alongside some of the giants of the personal finance industry.
Organised by independent financial information provider Moneyfacts Group plc, the awards celebrate the best financial products and services across the UK .
Award nominees are identified through rigorous product monitoring during the preceding year by the event organisers, with feedback from the broker community also taken into consideration. Steve Urwin, sales and marketing executive at Newcastle Building Society, said: “To be recognised in the Moneyfacts Awards is a great achievement for the Newcastle and we’re extremely pleased that independent assessment has recognised the quality of the ISA products that we provide.
“Even in the present low-interest rate climate, we have continued to offer innovative Cash ISA products that have proved extremely popular with both existing and new members. As a mutual organisation, we’re committed to rewarding our members with the best deals and products that we can create. We believe the value and impact of this commitment is the basis of the recognition we’ve received in the Moneyfacts Awards.”
