Fostering a teenager – you can make a real difference!

THE foster carers who work with Foster Care NCH North Community Placement Service make a real difference by offering care and support to young people who have had complex and disrupted lives.

Julie, one of its foster carers, talked about being a foster carer for young people.

She said: “Fostering is a challenge, but we’ve all learnt so much and gained so much from having Matt around. If you’ve got the patience of a saint, understand and care about young people, then foster care could be your chance to change lives.”
