Business resource efficiency expert Midas has undertaken a free audit of energy, water and waste resource use in one of the centre's 15 blocks, with a view to rolling out the resulting recommendations across all its facilities.

Engineering manager Richard Short said: "Energy issues have been high on our agenda for some time. Coupled with other measures, we believe that we could save around £120,000 annually in energy costs in this block alone."
