Panel endorses the Passionate About Employment campaign

Cay Stratton, director of the National Employment Panel was delighted to endorse the Passionate About Employment campaign.

She said: "This is a terrific example of how the North-East regional agencies can work in partnership to help engage employers in the development of Welfare to Work policies, employment and skills. Passionate About Employment will help to increase job opportunities for those people who are furthest away from the labour market and I am delighted to endorse such a positive campaign."

The National Employment Panel is composed of top business executives along with public sector and community leaders. It provides independent advice on welfare reform and labour market issues to Ministers in the Treasury, the Department of Work and Pensions and the Department for Education and Skills and is widely recognised as a source of fresh ideas on employment and skills issues.
