Success on a plate as bank lends support

A BANK is showing its support of the business community by backing an annual dinner. The Newcastle Branch of Allied Irish Bank (GB) will be the headline sponsor of the Asian Business Forum third annual dinner this year, the premier event of one of the region’s most active business communities.

Taking place on Sunday at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, organisers are raising its profile to be the best yet with the support of Allied Irish Bank (GB).

Allied Irish Bank (GB) has close ties with the Asian business network, in the region and elsewhere in the country.

Paul Tognarelli, manager or corporate business at the Newcastle branch, said: “This sponsorship is a perfect match for us and the customers we work with.

“The dinner is a key date in the Asian social and business calendar and it’s an excellent opportunity for us to support representatives from many of the sectors we regularly work in.
