The Safety Bookshop launched

FOLLOWING last year’s successful launch of The Standards Shop, which sells the full range of publications produced by BSI, Laidler Associates have recently launched The Safety Bookshop, a distributor of all HSE Books.

The Safety Bookshop puts Laidler in a unique position in being able to offer a complete documentation package including health and safety guidance and management standards.

Since being formed in 1998, Laidler Associates have worked with a number of multi-national, blue chip companies, assisting them with their machinery safety issues.

As well as CE marking new machinery, Laidler also carry out risk assessments on existing machinery, assessing them against the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations.

Laidler always refers to relevant BS EN standards when carrying out assessments and were often asked where to clients could obtain them from. This brought about the launch of the Standards Shop and more specifically, the Laidler Machinery Safety Standards Kit, which contains some of the more generic machinery standards that are required for CE marking.

In a similar manner, a number of requests from clients, has brought about the launch of the Safety Bookshop, further enhancing the service offering from Laidler Associates.
