Specialist agency spreads its empire further south

A NORTH East specialist business and property agency is celebrating a year of business growth by launching a nationwide expansion programme.

Newcastle based Moralee and Co has recently opened offices in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford in order to provide a better level of service to its growing UK customer base.

The company, which has its head office in Polwarth Drive, Gosforth, specialises in the buying and selling of a wide range of hotels, pubs and restaurants, as well as nursing and residential care homes and all sectors of the retail market.

“The past 12 months has been a period of outstanding business growth for us. This mirrors a UK-wide rise in the demand for licensed premises, which looks set to continue growing throughout 2008,” said owner and managing director Ian Moralee.

“As a result, the company has expanded massively through organic growth, creating a number of new jobs in the North East, and opening the four new satellite offices.” The new offices, in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford, will serve the company’s growing national database of over 3,000 private individuals and corporate clients who are currently looking to buy or lease licensed premises, restaurants and hotels. The cities have been chosen for their central location and easy accessibility.

“To date we have managed our national clients from Newcastle,” continues Mr Moralee. “However, this has become less practical as the number of inquiries and instructions we receive from Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire, the Midlands and Southern England continues to grow.”
