THE first phase of the 61,000sqft Blyth Valley Retail Park is now fully let after agent Knight Frank secured a 15-year lease with pet food supplier Jolleys.
The £14m development on Cowpen Road in Blyth is anchored by DIY superstore Homebase with a 35,000sqft unit. The latest letting is for a 6,000sqft unit at a rent of £14 per sq ft. The deal means the whole of the first phase of the scheme by Teesside-based Terrace Hill, in conjunction with Morley Fund Management, has been taken up. Other occupiers include Storey Carpets, Carpetright, Sleepmasters and a KFC drive-thru.
Dan Hyde, of Knight Frank, said: “Work has now begun on phase two, which comprises 15,000sqft of retail space, which can be sub-divided into three units. These units will be available from the summer of 2008.”
