A NORTH EAST specialist business and property agency is launching a nationwide expansion programme after a year of substantial growth.
Newcastle-based Moralee and Co has recently opened offices in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford in order to provide a better service to its customer base across the country.
The Gosforth company specialises in the buying and selling of a wide range of hotels, pubs and restaurants, as well as nursing and residential care homes and all sectors of the retail market.
Owner and managing director Ian Moralee said: “The past 12 months has been a period of outstanding business growth for us. This mirrors a UK-wide rise in the demand for licensed premises, which looks set to continue growing throughout 2008.
“As a result, the company has expanded massively through organic growth, creating a number of new jobs in the North East, and opening the four new satellite offices.”
The new offices will serve the company’s growing national database of more than 3,000 private individuals and corporate clients who are currently looking to buy or lease licensed premises, restaurants and hotels.
Mr Moralee added: “To date we have managed our national clients from Newcastle. However, this has become less practical as the number of inquiries and instructions we receive from Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire, the Midlands and Southern England continues to grow.”
