FORAGE crop specialist British Seed Houses has extended its agricultural sales team with the appointment of Iain Eadie to cover Scotland and North East England.
Iain brings 30 years of relevant experience to the position, including field trials and technical sales in the forage seed sector.
He will provide essential support to distributors in relation to British Seed Houses’ growing forage crop portfolio, including the highly-successful Aber grass and clover varieties, forage maize, perennial chicory and a developing range of forage brassicas.
“We recognise that specialised sales support for our distributors is increasingly important as we continue to develop our business,” says British Seed Houses managing director William Gilbert.
“We have a strong product offering across the board from some of the best plant-breeding organisations currently operating. Innovations such as Aber High Sugar Grasses, new white and red clovers, ultra-early forage maize varieties and out-wintering on forage brassicas all have a vital role in helping to reduce input costs.”
Iain Eadie is contactable through the Lincoln office (01522 868714). He will report to British Seed Houses’ agricultural director Paul Billings.
