New recruit at Gateshead firm

A LONG-SERVING director who recently retired from his post has been replaced by a close colleague.

Last month Keiron Moore stepped down from his role as UK director of RTR Handelsgesellschaft, a Gateshead-based subsidiary of a German company.

Mr Moore founded the UK company, which supplies parts to the power generation industry, 32 years ago and will now go into semi-retirement.

He has been replaced by Philip Ross who worked alongside Mr Moore for 24 years.

Mr Ross will be assisted by Trevor Hearn in technical sales, along with new technical sales recruit Christopher Hancock.
