Senergy Econnect wins top award

SOFTWARE firm Senergy Econnect has won a top industry award in recognition of its pioneering online renewable feasibility software.
 
The Hexham company was named the Most Innovative Web or Enterprise-based Product or Service 2008-09 by mapping agency, Ordnance Survey.

Senergy’s GridConnection.co.uk allows users to assess the connection of renewable energy projects around Great Britain from Lands End to John O’Groats.
 
The online feasibility software was specially developed to allow those interested in connecting renewable energy schemes to quickly, accurately and cost-effectively carry out grid integration assessment studies for projects such as windfarms and biomass schemes.
