Legal entrepreneur shortlisted as best of British

A NORTH East firm of conveyancers is celebrating following the news that their chief operating officer has been shortlisted for a national award.

John Cook of Cinnamon Property Lawyers has been shortlisted in the Conveyancer - Business Leader category of the British Mortgage Awards, which celebrate and recognise the achievements of companies and individuals working in the intermediate property market.

He said: "Being nominated for this award is absolutely fantastic.

"We set up the business at a time when the property market was in freefall and to be thriving ten months down the line is testament to our commitment to customer care and the passion and enthusiasm of our team."
