POP-UP shops offering fledgling creative businesses a leg up the trading ladder are proving a success in Middlesbrough. Helen Stevens, one of the residents at the Albert Road store with her Designers Marketplace, said a lack of creative career options on Teesside meant much of its creative talent moved away or was lost. Through the pop-up shop shes been able to showcase the work of 20 creative businesses, over an eight week period.
