T-Mobile and Orange plan to combine

Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom have announced that they have entered into negotiations to combine T-Mobile UK and Orange UK in a new 50:50 joint venture. The company will be the UKs leading mobile operator, with a combined mobile customer base of around 28.4 million people, or 37% of UK mobile subscribers.
