A NORTH East motivational speaker is returning to Iran for a second successive year to address an event where he was presented with the best speaker award 12 months ago.
Geoff Ramm, who is based in Boldon in South Tyneside, will speak to the second World Advertisement Forum in the Iranian capital Tehran, which is expected to attract more than 2,000 business people from across the Persian Gulf.
Mr Ramm will speak alongside marketers from Saatchi & Saatchi and Easyjet during the two-day event at Tehran’s International Conference Centre.
He was presented with a Persian rug last year by the event’s organisers.
He said: “It is a great honour to be invited back to speak in Tehran.
“Iran is an amazing place with amazing people who really appreciate speakers travelling to their country to help them improve their marketing, promotions and advertising activities.
“I will be delivering eight inspirational marketing keynotes in just 10 days to over 8,000 business leaders and entrepreneurs in Yazd, Mashad and ending in the capital Tehran for the World Advertisement Forum.”
Mr Ramm now runs two businesses. In 2002, the launched Mercury Marketing and has now diversified his brand to take in his enthusiasm for public speaking with Geoff Ramm.com Marketing Speaker.
Mr Ramm established his international credentials with his motivational ‘Now That’s What I Call Marketing’ keynote speeches, seminars and workshops to thousands of businesses across the globe.
He worked with Business Link to launch both enterprises and received one-to-one mentoring, plus help to create a new brand identity and a promotional strategy to get his second brand off the ground.
“I have spoken on behalf of businesses in the North East for a number of years but the time had come to take my observational marketing techniques and stories further afield to help inspire thousands of businesses, and Business Link were again at hand to make this happen for me,” he said.
His Business Link adviser Sue Taylor said: “Geoff continues to grow himself and his company, spotting new niches, and always moving and growing with his customers’ needs.
“His new brand as an inspirational speaker now gives Geoff great opportunities and ‘the edge’ to win new customers on a national and now international basis.”
