Celebrating success

ALLIED Irish Bank (GB) will once again be the headline sponsor of the Asian Business Forum’s annual dinner this year, the premier event of one of the region’s most active business communities.
Taking place on Friday, October 24, at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, the event will see business people from around the North East gather to network and celebrate success together.
Allied Irish Bank (GB) has close ties with the Asian business network both in the region and elsewhere in the country. Paul Tognarelli, senior manager, corporate business, at the Newcastle branch, which is supporting the event, sees the benefits of working closely with some of the region’s most successful and established entrepreneurs.
He said: “We work with many different thriving businesses across a whole range of sectors, many of whom are members of the Asian Business Forum. The dinner is an excellent match for us as it allows us to support and celebrate local success and home-grown talent in the region.
“Even in times like this there are still strong businesses and dynamic entrepreneurs who drive them. Working with these individuals in their diverse business interests it is vital to get close to a client’s organisation. Being close to the business means that the decision-making process is clearer and quicker and taking the time to develop a relationship and understand what makes a business tick can deliver real benefits for your business.
“There are always opportunities out there and our work with customers in the Asian Business Forum has shown this with new ventures coming to fruition all the time, including two care home projects for Gainford Care Homes and Ladhar Group just recently. We are very much open for business.
“Sharing the passion for business is something we enjoy at Allied Irish Bank (GB) and so we look forward to coming together with the Asian business community for the fourth annual dinner this year.”
The Asian Business Forum in the North East aims to be a gateway for business support organisations in the region and to interact with the Asian community to bring it benefits as well as organising a range of business and social events throughout the year.
Allied Irish Bank (GB) works with a wide variety of leading North East businesses from its main Newcastle branch and its Tees Valley office. With specialists based within the region, it offers a full range of banking services, including debt funding, international trade services, asset finance and private banking.
